Design and Build of a 3 storey block of six flats
for a Housing Association. The building included
reinforced concrete retaining walls due to the sloping
site, external walls of insulated cavity brickwork
and concrete planks for intermediate floors. Un-insulated
concrete block cavity walls were built between dwellings
and the whole building was designed to meet Robust
Detail standards for sound transference. To meet
Housing Association requirements the design incorporated
standards for HQI’s, EcoHomes (rating-Good)
and Secure by Design.
